Mount Tamborine Bed And Breakfast: Misty Morning Views And Kookaburras
Early morning at Mount Tamborine is truly magical. It is so quiet up in the Queensland hinterland, and taking a moment to breathe it all in feels like a reset for the soul.
We stayed at a lovely spot with a private balcony looking right out over the valley, where morning glory flowers bloom in the garden and the morning mist sits deep down in the trees. A sulphur-crested cockatoo perched high in the pine branches broke the early silence, offering a moment of quiet stillness before the day began.
Our host prepared a wonderful breakfast for us on the main verandah, but dining outdoors meant keeping a very close eye on our plates. Local kookaburras perched along the deck railing were ready to swoop in, while friendly pied butcherbirds and a curious noisy miner gathered right beside us on the timber deck as we shared a few tidbits with them.
Filming and writing allow me to capture these simple, unhurried moments. I invite you to join me as I share reflections on nature, family, creativity, and the quiet moments that often become our most treasured memories.
