Mount Tamborine: Hidden Waterfall Walk in the Rainforest

Escaping into the lush greenery of the rainforest always brings a fresh sense of wonder.

In this video, our family joins close friends for a bushwalk through Mount Tamborine in search of a hidden waterfall. As we stepped onto the trail, a striking Orchard Swallowtail butterfly fluttered right around Jennifer’s head before disappearing into the canopy. The walk had its share of adventure, getting temporarily tangled in waist-high grass and nearly turning back before local walkers guided us down a hidden side track lined with magnificent bird’s-nest ferns.

Reaching the cool, cascading waterfall after the hot walk felt pure magic. While swimming in the freshwater pool beneath the falls, Toby made a special discovery, finding a smooth, polished piece of rose quartz resting right in the water, likely dropped by a previous visitor.

Filming and writing allow me to capture these simple, unhurried moments. I invite you to join me as I share reflections on nature, family, creativity, and the quiet moments that often become our most treasured memories.
