Quiet Riverside Walk | Nature Sounds, Family Time & Foil Surfers

There is a quiet grounding in the simple act of taking a walk along the water. In this latest film, I take you along for a peaceful stroll by the river here on the Far North Coast, taking in the soothing sights and natural sounds of our local waterway.

My latest video invites you to pause and appreciate the gentle rhythm of family time and the surrounding environment. Along the path, Brad and Toby took time to watch the water, noticing the way the outgoing tide met the incoming wind. We watched the local birds gather by the shore, listened to the rustle of the pandanus trees, and stopped to watch the foil surfers seamlessly catching the breeze across the water. These simple moments remind me how much beauty exists when we take the time to notice.

Filming and writing allow me to capture these quiet, unhurried memories with family. Through sharing this short visual diary, I hope to bring a moment of stillness, fresh air, and calm into your day.

I invite you to join me through The Woolcottage Journal, where I share reflections on nature, family, creativity and the quiet moments that often become our most treasured memories.
