Hummingbirds are poetry in motion
Infinity spelled in their wings
Flashing speed of light that our eyes may miss
But to our hearts, divinely sings

The Rhythm of Life was originally published on my first blog in 2016. I’ve always been fascinated by these magical little birds. The hummingbird’s message is a reminder that even the smallest creatures carry the grandest spiritual truth.
In this moment, let’s take a breath.
Deeply, we expand our lungs wide.
Let our egos go, drift away;
dissolve our past, all judgment, pride.

Musicians and sound weavers
During these, consciousness shifts
Expressing creative gifts
Today I recognised a part of me
When I looked up at the trunk of a tree
I experienced freedom from up high
Imagined the view from an eagle’s eye
Language
Communicated
With loving words
Don’t just stop where they
Left the lips to another’s ears.
