Looking up at large trees, with bare braches.

The Miracle is Me

Today I recognised a part of me
When I looked up at the trunk of a tree
I experienced freedom from up high
Imagined the view from an eagle’s eye

As I felt the gentle cool autumn breeze
The breath I breathed out was joined with the trees
My wings expanded; I gently glided
All miracles and atoms collided

I know for sure every beating heart
Feels the need to matter and play a part
Energy permeates each living thing
Flowing from one source, each pearl on a string

I sing one song that we’re all part of
A shining treasure chest of one great love
We’re all creating one grand masterpiece
We sing with one heart, one voice; one chorus

The Miracle Is Me, inspired by Louise L Hay, was originally published on my first blog in 2017. This message from spirit captures the feeling of freedom and spiritual connection found in nature.
