A Poet’s Heart
I’m a dreamer with a poet’s heart
A blessed woman playing her part
A soul drifting in this life’s embrace
Learning and growing in so much grace
Discovering all these emotions
On bended knee, I weep devotions
Rainbows of life, a celebration
Battleground of ego’s inflation
Through the thinning veil of heaven’s gate
The whispers of the creator’s fate
Now reveal a plan my spirit knows
The reason for this life that I chose
When I free all of my heart’s desires
Goodness flows, heavenly peace transpires
I write the stories as life unfolds
Mysteries, treasures – precious life holds
