A Quiet Day in Byron Shire: Suffolk Park Beach & Crystal Castle

There is a quiet grounding in slowing down and returning to places filled with long-standing memories. In this latest film, I take you along for a peaceful outing across the Byron Shire, from the quiet shores of Suffolk Park Beach to the tranquil grounds of Crystal Castle.

My latest video invites you to pause and soak in the natural beauty of our region. We start along the coast, giving our Jack Russell, Bonnie, a run on the sand while enjoying the cool fresh air, afternoon sun, and the quiet stretch toward Broken Head. Afterward, we journey into the hinterland to explore Crystal Castle, a peaceful sanctuary filled with towering crystals, bamboo groves, quiet rainforest pathways, and lush native and exotic gardens.

Filming and writing allow me to capture these quiet, unhurried moments with family and nature. Through sharing this visual diary, I hope to bring a moment of stillness, fresh air, and calm into your day.

I invite you to join me through The Woolcottage Journal, where I share reflections on nature, family, creativity, and the quiet moments that often become our most treasured memories. Subscribe to my YouTube channel, Angela Woolcott, and stay connected with my poetry, nature stories, family adventures, and reflections from our corner of Australia.
