Alignment With Divine Purpose: Finding Peace Over Balance

A Note From Angela Woolcott (2025)

This post is shared for historical reference to help document my journey as a writer and author. It was originally published in 2016 on my first blog and reflects my personal and creative Journey at that time.

I hope this personal insight offers you a moment of quiet reflection on the journey from seeking balance to finding divine alignment. This post explores how aligning your purpose with spirit allows answers and peace to flow through you.

I used to strive for balance, but now I realise the value in aiming for perfect alignment. Striving for the former often made me feel like perfect balance was never achievable. Something would always tip the scales and put me out of balance: Anything can tip the scales!

But if I align myself with God, my creator, the divine love and energy pour through me, allowing me to be more centred and peaceful. I believe that when my chakras are aligned in my body, I am better equipped to deal with challenging situations in this life.

Insight

“Align yourself with what you are, and you will attract that to you.” I received this message from spirit and pondered what this meant.

There is a knowing inside of me that connects with the magnificence that I am. My mind has forgotten, and my ego ties me to the world of limitations. My heart is like a transmitter, sending out the signal that I am ready to download my next lesson. When I connect with my heart and align my purpose with spirit, the answers flow to me.

I remind myself: “When we wish we are more than we already are, we send the signal out that we aren’t enough. Our hearts are wiser and know that we are perfect and whole. Our true essence is abundance and love.”

I try not to wish to be or have something as if it were taken from me, and I want it back. I just know that I already am that which I want to manifest; that which is aligned with a higher purpose and good.

I affirm: “I am that I am. It will flow. I am ready. I am a student having an earthly experience, connecting to the master that I am.”

If I desire it, then it must be in my blueprint for success or ascension; my soul’s need for growth and expansion. So, when I have clearer answers and direction from spirit, I need to act on these desires and intend them into my life by taking positive steps towards attaining the goal.

I know I will manifest success when I have learned the lessons that I needed to learn, and then I will be able to move on to pay it forward and help others to attain the objective of their higher purpose. This is when I have reached the pinnacle of my Dharma: to serve.

This post encourages you to stop striving for balance and instead focus on achieving divine alignment with your true essence, which is abundance and love. To explore this concept further, I recommend reading this article on Understanding Spiritual Balance: A Guide to Inner Alignment.
